Jude Law Looking For New Digs

Jude Law is reportedly looking for a new home after finding students living near his penthouse apartment were photographing him topless.
According to sources, the British actor is being particularly vigilant after he was a target of News Corporation's well-publicised phone hacking scandal.
The Chicago Sun-Times are reporting that Jude "went ballistic" when he learned New York University students were invading his personal space and "photographing him walking around his apartment shirtless and working out on his terrace."
The publication adds that Jude is now on the look-out for a new abode in the Big Apple. The star is reportedly "paying special attention to neighbouring buildings and any possible sites where his privacy could be breached."

Jude Law: Peace One Day's Global Truce Launch!

Jude Law attends the launch of Peace One Day‘s Global Truce 2012 student campaign held at the University of London Union on Monday (February 27) in London, England.
The 39-year-old English actor is an ambassador for the organization, which this year will hold Peace Day on September 21 – a call for ceasefire and nonviolence.
“Mass participation on Peace Day 2012 will give Peace One Day the leverage it needs to get others involved, particularly the member states of the United Nations,” Jude says in a video for the group.
“If they see people of our world coming together, then they’ll act themselves,” he adds. “So please join the conversation on Facebook at Facebook.com/peaceoneday.”

Jude Law teams up with the best of British talent to raise money for National Youth Music Theatre on 21st February 2012

He began his career treading the boards with the National Youth Music Theatre when he was just 15 years old.

So last night, Jude Law decided to give something back to the place that kick-started his glittering career.

The actor, 39, teamed up with some fellow British stars for a fundraiser

He was joined by My Week With Marilyn star Eddie Redmayne, 30, and Sherlock star Lara Pulver, 31, at the members only Ivy Club in central London.

Looking smart in a dark green trousers with a stripe up the sides and a black jacket, he posed for pictures with his contemporaries at the event.

The National Youth Music Theatre is based in London, runs acting workshops, auditions and productions for young people aspiring to be an actor.

It is also a registered charity and used to be called the Children's Music Theatre Limited.

Lara, who starred in True Blood last series and momentarily in the current fourth series, also started her career at the NYMT.

They were also joined by Sheridan Smith, who showed off her new red hair and posed for pictures with the gang.

She recently announced that she has landed the role of Ronnie Biggs's wife alongside Ashes to Ashes star Daniel Mays as the fugitive train robber in a new ITV series called Mrs Biggs

First Look At Keira Knightley & Jude Law In Joe Wright's 'Anna Karenina'
The latest from Joe Wright, might seem like an easy lay-up, in the director's typical fashion, he's raising the bar. As was recently revealed in an extended profile in Empire magazine, Wright choose to make the production nearly entirely on a single stage, in a take that has been described as experimental, taking place in an "elastic universe" that will include toy trains and dollhouses standing in for exterior locations.

Well, out of the pages of the same issue come our first looks at Keira Knightley as Anna, Aaron Johnson as the blond haired and mustachioed Count Vronsky and Jude Law as Alexei Karenin. While the costumes may look conventional (and by that we mean, beautiful), the approach is anything but. Earlier this month Knightley told us the film would be a "much more theatrical version" of the story we've seen before, and nope, you won't be hearing any phony Russian accents, as the cast have all kept their native tongues.
The film is currently slated for a September 7th release in the U.K., and we'd wager a U.S. release will fall around the same time, and given that's right in the Venice/Telluride/TIFF scrum, a festival appearance of some kind seems likely.
